How Would You Improve Unlimited Hydroplane Racing?

Tim from Nostalgic Unlimiteds posed an excellent question about improving Unlimited Hydroplane Racing. To his credit, sometimes we need to take a step back and challenge what we know. If the challenge uncovers an improved answer, then we need to go with it.

We currently enjoy our races generally on a two-day schedule. Big week-end, overnight stay, lots of activity. But Tim’s question is a good one: would a one-day format improve the sport and why? Should we leave it alone? Should we encourage a 3-day, blow the doors off sort of event?
