Arkansas Crystal Cup Using Seafair’s Compass For Simple Math
It is rewarding to be a part of a sport that exhibits amazing cooperation. Not just between teams or H1 or race sites, or “you name it.” In this example, it is specifically a longstanding and quite successful festival such as Seattle’s Seafair, openly sharing and helping the up-and-comer that is the Arkansas Crystal Cup.
Regular readers of Unlimited Hydroplane Racing knows the support I have provided to Frantz in his attempt to bring a race to Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas. As a racing fan, if I can help raise visibility through my site, I’m happy to do it.
But it is an entirely different story (and a very positive one, by the way!) when the folk at Seafair share their successes with Frantz in the spirit of helping him in his quest.
Seafair’s Compass
A perfect example of that cooperation is the Seafair 2013 Sponsorship Opportunities document they have shared with Frantz. Sure, that may not be that big of a deal, but it shows the wisdom held by the Seafair brain trust to help improve the sport of Unlimited Hydroplane Racing through expansion.
It’s really very simple math:
more race sites + stronger events = better overall awareness and participation at all race sites
On behalf of Unlimited Hydroplane Racing fans everywhere, thank you, Seafair. This one simple act may have a significant and positive impact on Frantz’ ability to create a race. If it does, you’ve just helped the sport.
Period.
